Description
Panadol Night is a medication designed to provide relief from nighttime pain, helping individuals achieve better sleep. Each strip contains 10 film-coated tablets, with each tablet comprising two active ingredients: 500 mg of paracetamol and 25 mg of diphenhydramine hydrochloride.

It also helps alleviate fever and discomfort associated with colds and flu, particularly when these symptoms disrupt sleep.
Mechanism of Action
- Paracetamol acts as an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer).
- Diphenhydramine hydrochloride is an antihistamine that induces drowsiness, making it suitable for nighttime use.
Dosage
The recommended dosage is as follows:
- Adults (16 years and older): Take 2 tablets with water about 20 minutes before bedtime. Do not exceed 2 tablets in one night.
- Children (12-15 years): Take 1 tablet with water about 20 minutes before bedtime. Maximum of 1 tablet per night.
- Not recommended for children under 12 years without medical advice.
Precautions
- Do not use for more than 7 consecutive nights without consulting a healthcare professional.
- Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, as it may increase drowsiness.
- Use caution if you have liver or kidney issues, or if you’re taking other medications that may cause sedation.
