Ingredients for Pickled Mango:
- Mangoes: 2 pounds of almost ripe or green mangoes (Carabao or Manila varieties are preferred)
- Vinegar: ¾ cup of distilled white vinegar
- Water: ¾ cup
- Sugar: ¾ cup
- Salt: 1 teaspoon (avoid iodized salt)
- Spices (optional):
- 10 whole peppercorns
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 hot chili, chopped (for added spice)
